James H. Curley’s Biography
Began my young life growing up in Southern California, attending excellent schools and excelled at the many activities associated with the warm weather and climate. After attending Junior College, I decide to serve my country and within 6 months found myself setting foot in Vietnam in the Mid 60’s. I was attached to the 1st Air Cavalry (‘Gary Owen’ for those of you remember) and became involved in Air Assaults daily, ambushes at night and many encounters with the enemy. I am grateful for the many awards and medals that I received while over there, but my heart still remembers those who did not come back!
After returning from Vietnam (only three of us came back without a wound) I began to utilize my G.I. Bill to attend college again and received my engineering degrees from CSULB.
Over the past 40 years I have worked as an Engineer for many different Military and commercial companies and achieved in excess of 15 U.S. Patents in design during that term. It was a rewarding time of my life and this too I am grateful to God for allowing me to experience this part of my life.
My extra time go’s to Showing, handling and grooming our dogs. We just recently received with TANK our black male standard poodle his United States Championship. All the others are waiting patiently to go into the show ring and do the same.
I have always tried to be the very best that I can be and my past might give you some idea what my objectives are now that I am a REALTOR.
